With the struggling Arts District in Vegas, the minute it looked like the area was going to make a profit, property values skyrocketed and big business wanted to come in. A sports stadium was proposed that will flood the area with a glut of traffic and venues that none of the local artists can afford. The protest was loud and long to which our illustrius Mayor said, " There are no Picassos in the Arts District." This painting is my commentary to that, using the lowliest and least respected artists, grafitti artists, as the defense against the business suits deciding what is and is not art.
